mermaid hair

i forgot to mention that last week, during the mad menno mini, one of the most beautiful aspects was during the swim portion. the lake was filled with some sort of interesting plant life that spiralled up from the bottom of the lake like curly greenish-blonde mermaid hair. it was so beautiful it almost distracted me from the fact that i was attempting my first consecutive quarter mile swim.
