pepper birds

yesterday, on my drive home from work, i saw a beautiful, undulating, peppery cloud of birds. i love to watch those giant flocks of birds. the way they all move together. the way the cloud of them always reminds me of a cloud of pepper floating through the sky. the way the cloud turns from grey to dark black depending on what angle you’re seeing it at.
