not this past holiday weekend (which we stayed at home for, all three of us sick–hooray! p.s. anyone local want to volunteer to be our grandma-on-call for these types of situations?) but the weekend before that, we made a trip up to our favorite lakeside cabin, owned by parents of good friends of ours. we had a great time doing nothing but feeling the (very strong!) wind in our hair, sweating in their wood-fire sauna then jumping off the end of the pier into the lake, eating so. much. pie., and spending time with friends where i enjoyed some much-needed heart-to-heart girly chats. here is just a small sampling of my favorite photos from the weekend.
