last week, i got a dvd of episodes of fawlty towers. this is a british comedy that my family discovered when i was a kid and enjoyed immensely. i think we must have taped them off of the tv, because as i was watching the dvd i realized that i could recite most of the funny lines from memory. sadly, there were ever only twelve episodes. my childhood favorite was “communication problems.” i’ll have to let you know my adult favorite once i’ve watched them all again. mr. happy stuff doesn’t think they’re very funny. i, on the other hand, love watching them while i’m crafting because i don’t have to watch the screen to know what’s going on. plus, in addition to a laugh, i get a warm fuzzy from all the childhood flashbacks i get while i watch it.
