a short bike ride with a friend

we were going to bike to paoli, but when her knee started twinging less than 3 miles from the start, we chose a much shorter route. the shorter route, however, allowed us to see big fireflies with black wings and bright baby-blue abdomens, a sycamore tree (her favorite and the first one she’s seen in madison), and an amazing sunset over the lake.
