kcwc, day ???: upcycled pants!

i sort of lost track of the kids clothing week challenge somewhere along the way.  i got started on these pants, then they took me awhile (i kept making adjustments) but they’re finally finished!  they were adult pants:

and i cut them down, preserving the fly, waistband, and pockets (hooray for shortcuts!), and then added these fun cuffs so that we can fold them down as he grows bigger (and hopefully the pants will last us a little longer that way).
