} i got new glasses
} i saw a beetle with bright, orange, iridescent wings sitting on a sidewalk
} i got a haircut
} i got to take pictures of a baby and her big sister and her parents all morning
} mr. happy stuff noticed a family of raccoons living in the dumpster area of the business next door. they boldly stared at us after dinner and we stared back. i think there were three little ones plus two big ones. when they’re not eating our garbage, they really pretty cute.
} we also saw a robin dive-bombing a squirrel. repeatedly.
} have i mentioned that we live in the middle of a city?
} i stopped for gelato and sampled some wonderfully unusual flavors–lime cilantro, goldfish (as in crackers, not pets), sweet corn (surprisingly delicious!), and sea salt caramel.
